Role

You will be responsible for building and maintaining both internal and external websites. You will have the opportunity to grow into advanced Web Development work over time and a trusted custodian of the company’s knowledge and information systems.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining responsive websites and web applications using PHP, ASP.NET Classic, WordPress, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL and integrating RESTful APIs to support scalable application architecture and data exchange
• Revamping and modernising legacy systems using PHP-PDO, LDAP, and MSSQL, improving functionality, maintainability, and performance
• Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure high reliability, security, and performance of web applications
• Collaborating with designers, stakeholders, and project managers to deliver effective, user-centric digital solutions
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and stakeholders
• Implementing Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and SEO strategies aligned with GDPR compliance to improve visibility and data-driven insights
• Authoring detailed technical documentation and user manuals to support smooth onboarding and knowledge transfer
• Staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development, and recommending improvements to workflows and methodologies

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally possess the following traits:

• At least 5 years of working experience as a Web Developer
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
• Strong relational skillset and a desire to work well with colleagues
• Deep expertise and hands-on experience with web applications and programming languages such as Classic ASP, PHP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, URL rewrite, MSSQL, MYSQL, Word Press
• Able to work independently and good at troubleshooting
• Experience in Adobe Suite - Dreamweaver, Photoshop and InDesign
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Polished and professional appearance
• Ability to work at speed and multi-task
• Positive attitude, be an ‘energiser’
• Meticulous attention to detail

Administrative Details

Start date: Immediate preferred

Compensation: Competitive base salary

Travel: Based in Singapore
